This job thing gets weirder all the time. Remeber when I told everyone that it looked like August for my transfer to AK? Nope! April!!!!! Kinda sneaks up on ya don't it? I just hope I'll have all of my ducks in a row by then. After reseaching a bit more it sounds like the trip up there will be an adventure on its own. It sounds like the hip thing to do is drive to Bellingham, WA and catch a big ass ferry to a little town called Haines, AK . Easy right? Well, yer half way there. Ya got another 3 day drive though 2 mountain ranges to get to Anchorage. Since when is moving supposed to be like a little vacation? I'm totally stoked. Last chance for requests for exotic CA shit. Little road reflectors, Napa wines, shitty cheese made from milk that comes from allegedly "happy cows". Just E me with your requests. With any luck they will have better beer in AK. Hopefully it won't be like the UP where they drink Labatt's just 'cause they are close enough to Canada to cause brain damage.
